A truss screed is a specialised levelling machine designed to strike off and consolidate large areas of concrete, placing it accurately, swiftly and with uniformity. Truss screeds are a necessity in roadwork, industrial flooring, bridge decks, and slab-on-grade construction for creating flat and durable surfaces with little labour and high productivity. Truss screeds are made from modular aluminium or steel truss components powered by vibratory motors. The screed is pushed through the concrete pour using winches or is pulled by hand.
